THOMMY SIMMONS
Emerging during the height of the COVID pandemic, Thommy Simmons — one half of the electronic duo Chores — embarked on a solo venture.
During this time, he devoted himself to crafting a collection of music, which has since found a home with the renowned Australian dance label Medium Rare Recordings.
In early 2023, his debut solo single “WAY U FEEL” premiered on Triple J and received strong support from George FM and Melbourne’s KISS FM. Building on that momentum, he released “OVER IT” in November 2023, followed by two collaborative tracks with rising Australian dance vocalist Doolie.
In 2025, Thommy unveiled his first collaboration with global breakthrough artist IsGwan, a track that remains on A rotation on George FM and continues to receive airplay across Triple J and Nova, marking another milestone in his growing career.
Despite being early in his solo journey, Thommy has already made an impact on the live circuit, debuting at a sold-out Boiler Room alongside DJ EZ and Y U QT, and sharing stages with international acts including Barry Can’t Swim and Pretty Girl. He continues to perform regularly across Melbourne’s leading venues, cementing his place as an exciting emerging electronic artist.
