SAMMIE
DJ & Producer SAMMIE carved her niche in the NZ music scene with her dynamic sound and original music. After 9 years making waves in NZ, SAMMIE relocated to Naarm, bringing her vibrant energy to new audiences. Her electrifying performances have graced festivals like Rhythm and Vines, Hidden Valley and Synthony, alongside supporting international artists such as Fjaak, Chris Lorenzo, and Effy.
Since relocating, SAMMIE has been featured on several popular Naarm based online platforms such as The Sound Gallery, PAF Presents and Area3000 radio. She has played at many of the city's iconic venues such as Section 8 and Revolver and has started her own club night, JUICE - showcasing and celebrating the talented artists of Oceania.
SAMMIE’s first original record was released in 2019. Since then she has built herself a discography including a 2 track EP and a single release on NZ dance music label Glass Half Full.
Taking inspiration from 90’s dance and rave records, SAMMIE’s unique take on electronic music has seen her original music feature on Spotify editorial playlists and rotation on dance music radio station, George FM.
SAMMIE seamlessly blends genres like electro, progressive house, hard groove, breakbeat and rave classics to craft sets that take listeners on a journey. Each performance showcases her evolving artistry, leaving a lasting impression on the dance floor.
