TALI
Tali is a multi-award-winning musician, hailing from Aotearoa, New Zealand. She is known internationally for her groundbreaking achievements in the Electronic music scene, most notably within Drum & Bass as a vocalist and freestyle MC.
However, Tali's love of Electronic music has seen her work with a variety of producers, DJs, and live musicians across many genres, from Techno and House to Downtempo, 140, and even within Ambient music spaces.
Tali is sought after for her conscious, positive lyrics, soaring, soulful voice and her ability to connect with her audience, from huge festival crowds to small, intimate club shows. Anyone who has seen Tali live can testify to her electrifying and energetic performance, and yet, Tali can easily switch from this to a more introspective, intimate delivery when required.
In her 25-year career, Tali has released eight studio albums, two EPs and countless singles and collaborations. Her EP 'Love & Migration' earned her 'Best Electronic Artist' at the New Zealand Music Awards in 2019, and her self-produced album 'Future Dwellers' was nominated for the same award in 2022.
Tali consistently performs around New Zealand at all major festivals including Rhythm & Vines, Rhythm & Alps, Northern Bass, Shipwrecked, Splore and AUM, and has performed internationally at Festivals such as Fusion Festival (Germany), Glastonbury (UK), EXIT festival (Serbia), Sziget Festival (Budapest), WMC (Miami) and Sun & Bass festival (Sardinia).
Most recently in 2024, Tali performed at Hospitality On The Beach (Croatia), Liquicity Festival (The Netherlands) and Locus Bali (Indonesia), before returning home to New Zealand to celebrate 20 years since her first ever release of the trailblazing album 'Lyric On My Lip' and 25 years in the music industry itself.
To celebrate this varied and long-standing career, Tali has been performing all around Aotearoa with her intimate, storytelling-style show - 'Flip The Script', performing songs from her back catalogue with her live band. This show encompasses elements of Jazz, Blues, Soul and Lo-Fi, and is available to book for the rest of 2025 - 2026.
Tali rounded off a very successful 2024 with the release of her self-produced EP 'Resistance', an emotive and cinematic project consisting of Jungle, DnB and Melodic Techno, that has been supported by the likes of DJ Marky, Makoto and Nicky Blackmarket.
This year, Tali has collaborated with Chiccoreli on their very first DnB release - 'Blessing' (The remix) featuring Sianne on vocals, with the original produced by Riddim Killer and presented by Israel Starr. This was signed and released on Loop Electronic.
Tali also just recently released another collaboration with UK MC Y-Zer, a track called 'War' which Tali produced and released on her own imprint Reign Recordings. More new music is on the way, with another EP project in the works.
While Tali is most usually seen performing with a DJ, she is also a classically trained pianist and singer, and she has also performed live with several of New Zealand's most prestigious orchestras, including the Auckland Philharmonic.
Tali is also a composer for film and television, a music mentor at Elliettes Music Academy, a private music consultant, an inspirational speaker and a published author.
