Lauren Gin is a Sydney-based electronic music producer, DJ, and songwriter originally from Tāmaki Makaurau, Aotearoa (Auckland, New Zealand). She established herself as a standout figure in the electronic music scene, captivating audiences with her blend of heavy Trap and Future Bass. Inspired by producers such as Skrillex, Flume, and Quix, Lauren broke barriers in the male-dominated industry as a third-generation Chinese-Kiwi woman.

Lauren's signature sound, a seamless fusion of Trap and Future Bass, resulted in high-energy and dynamic tracks that never failed to get crowds moving. Her single ‘Remedy’ ft. JANAYAH was a breakout success, charting at No. 4 on the Official Hot 20 NZ Singles Chart (NZ Music Charts) and receiving extensive airplay on George FM, ZM, and The Edge.

Beyond the studio, Lauren's dedication to supporting wāhine (women) in music and business earned her recognition by Forbes in their 30 Under 30 list for her contributions to empowering women-led startups. Her electrifying live performances secured her spots at major festivals such as Rhythm & Vines, Splore, Bay Dreams, Hidden Valley, and Electric Avenue.

Lauren’s career highlights include opening for international heavyweights Pendulum and LF System and going on tour with Peking Duk across Australia in 2024. Her talent also took her abroad, with successful performances in LA, Bali, and Portland (Oregon).

In 2023, she released her 5-track EP ‘Adrenaline,’ further solidifying her reputation as a dynamic producer and DJ. As she looks ahead, Lauren Gin’s impact on the electronic music scene continues to resonate globally.
