Baz is a unique multi genre DJ with appraisals from the likes of local legends Che Fu, P-Money & DJ Sir-vere for his work behind the wheels of steel, keeping the craft alive and well in Auckland City. Hailing from Palestine, Ill Baz is the producer behind High Beams and former touring DJ for US rap duo The Underachievers. He’s supported many international acts including Migos, Lil Uzi Vert, Mick Jenkins & Bryson Tiller and played Rhythm & Vines and NZ Fashion Week. He has also flexed his producing talent, with credits under his belt for Melodownz, Raiza Biza and Third3ye, as well as remixing 'How My Day Goes' for Eno & Dirty.
Baz's latest creation-High Beams, showcases his unique production chops with two of the best rapper in the game - MELODOWNZ and Raiza Biza. The seven track project is about shining a light on things that are discarded or overlooked, especially living in New Zealand, a country so distant from conflicts and human injustice on a large scale.
