Scizzorhands is an innovator, producer, studio owner, mix engineer, and teacher, leaving an indelible mark on the industry.

His journey began in 2004, carting turntables to house parties and nightclubs, honing his skills and setting the stage for competition. In 2012, Scizzorhands claimed the title of New Zealand Red Bull 3style champion, earning a spot among the world's best in Chicago, IL, USA. He also went on to podium finishes in other battles including the prestigious DMC.

As a respected performer, Scizzorhands has tour DJ’d with Slum Village, Guilty Simpson, and more, and has opened for international acts like Pharoahe Monch, De La Soul and The Next Men. As a producer and artist, Scizzorhands has worked with Guilty Simpson, Mazbou Q, and Kevin Posey, among others.

In 2019, he released his debut studio album, "The Introduction," marking his foray into production. He has since collaborated with Kevin Posey as part of Iron Flowerz, earning a five-star review for their EP. Scizzorhands currently operates from his studio, BeatSpun, alongside business partner Corey, and partners with brands like Burgerfuel to advance the art of DJing and support the NZ DJ community through workshops.
